Human differences such as race, temperament, and culture should be embraced and celebrated within the body of Christ. However, when diversity becomes an idol, it can lead to selfishness and division. Jesus prayed for His disciples to be brought to complete unity so that the world would know that God sent Him and loves His children (John 17:23).
