Dreams and visions are mentioned throughout the Bible, with God using them as a means of communication with His prophets and others. For example, in Genesis 20, God spoke to Abimelech through a dream, warning him not to touch Abraham's wife, Sarah. Jacob dreamed of a ladder reaching up to heaven in Genesis 28. Joseph had dreams that his brothers would serve him, which eventually led to his captivity in Egypt (Genesis 37). God grants wisdom to those who seek it from Him (James 1:5), and He has promised His peace to all who seek it. In Philippians 4:6-7, we are encouraged not to be anxious but instead to present our requests to God with thanksgiving. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will then guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
