Some people also connect another battle mentioned earlier in Revelation to a prophecy about China in the end times. This interpretation hinges on the mention of an army of 200 million in Revelation 9:16 and occasional reports about China's capability to equip such a vast army. However, there are a couple of issues with this view. Firstly, Revelation 9 does not mention an army from the East but speaks instead about a demonic horde that destroys a third of mankind. Additionally, this battle occurs after the sixth trumpet judgment, while the battle involving the kings from the East in Revelation 16 takes place after the sixth bowl judgment, approximately three and a half years later.

In the end times, many nations, including China, will attempt conquest, but ultimately their fight will be against God. The tribulation period will be characterized by warfare, disasters, and divine judgment. However, it is important to remember that God is in control. As Psalm 2:2-6 assures us, the kings of the earth may rise up against the Lord and His anointed, but the Lord laughs and scoffs at them. He has installed His king on Zion, His holy mountain.
